You will be required to read at least four books this school year and complete either a book project or report on each book (one will be due each quarter). These book projects will allow you to do different types of assignments. With a minimum of four books to read I expect that all projects and reports be of high quality. They should demonstrate pride of workmanship and neatness. You must include the title of the book, the name of the author, and number of pages with each report or project. All books need to be at your reading level. You will need to get your book approved by me before you begin. You will be able to get detailed instructions for each report or project before you begin reading your book (those will be given out at the beginning of each quarter). You will also be responsible for taking at least four Accelerated Reading (AR) quizzes. If you think ahead you may be able to find an AR book that will work for your book project or report. Check to see if it is an AR book here
Don’t forget you will receive an instruction sheet and rubric at the beginning of each quarter.
